26th Aug Newtonmore Dulsie Dipper 210k

3rd Sept Forfar Pitlochry 150k

10th Sept Wellbank (nr Dundee) Amulree Amble 213k

I quite fancy the Pitlochry one but I wanted to have a bash at doing a 200k. Dunno if I can be bothered driving all the way up to Newtownmore...

any takers?

I was already planning on the Pitlochry (think there's a thread for that one already).

The Newtonmore clashes with the ScotsPagans summer camp. That doesn't mean I won't do it.

I was planning on doing the Scottish century, which clashes with the third.

There's no way I'll be doing the Scottish 100. Quite apart from the fact it starts in Glasgow I've been scared off by the boy racer talk. Way too fast for me I think.

I'll have a look at that. I hadn't spotted anything too testosterone-heavy, but I haven't been paying much attention.

Is punishment the ride or having to visit Scotland to do it?

Is it possible to slur Scotland?

Antonine and Hadrian had the right idea

Mind you, if you want to upset and Geordies, just point out 90% of Newcastle upon Tyne is the wrong side ( North side) of Hadrian's Wall

Ah.

The old "fair comment" defence.

Behave yourselves!

[-X

I may have to banish you to the Shrubbery at this rate, and I'm all ACFed out after the weekend and the last thing I want to do is have Spen there accusing me of getting all Samwise.
